The key to your destiny
I have found that one of the most treasured commodities needed in our world today is inspiration. Inspiration is that intangible ability to motivate individuals or groups to positive action. Inspiration, however, is often in short supply. Day by day I find myself more and more in need of it than any other resource. I once was a part of a large religious organization that did great work in helping to build the Kingdom of God. Our executive director told us often that our organization never had a resource crisis but only an idea crisis. That meant that there was a lack of inspiration to motivate vision.
All of us have ideas dreams and visions. But how many of us actually work to make our visions into realities. Each day we are faced with challenges, possibilities and opportunities. What we do with and about them is determined by how inspired we are.
My wife and I once visited the home of a man who had a great art collection. As we walked through his home he told us of how each piece inspired him when he first saw it and how it inspires him today. Inspiration comes in many forms. What’s most important is that we realize that all of us need it to grow and progress in life. I have learned that I am inspired by music and beauty in my environment. A song can inspire me to write or paint. A beautiful and peaceful place can motivate me to creativity and clarity of thought. What is most important is that you figure out what inspires you, what motivates you, what gives life to your visions and passion to your dreams. For once you find this, you will have found the key to growth, opportunity and God’s blessings.
What inspires you? What gets your creative juices flowing and opens your mind to higher and deeper thoughts? Seek this insight and it will lead you to the pathway to your progress and the doorway to your destiny.
