The Program

What Can Mt. Zion J.O.B.S. do for you?

Mt. Zion J.O.B.S. is 10-week program which meets once a week at NO COST to the student. Each student will be paired with a mentor who will assist them thru the training program, placement and post placement. Communication will continue for one year. Interested individuals should use the information below to contact us.

The program will equip participants with skills to personal and professional success.

  • Effective interviewing techniques
  • Writing and effective resume and cover letter
  • Communication and attitude
  • Punctuality and respect for authority
  • Conflict resolution
  • Integrity
  • Excellence in the workplace

Success

Historically the success rate of students who graduate from the program has averaged up to 70%. The majority of the graduates are still in the job with benefits beyond one year. A number of the graduates are individuals recovering from addiction and some have been incarcerated. Because the program transforms lives, businesses in the greater Cleveland area are hiring Mt. Zion J.O.B.S. graduates.

The goal of J.O.B.S. is to help the unemployed, underemployed and under-served and help them to get into the workforce and obtain meaningful employment. The success rate is high and we have the ability to connect students with prospective employers after they complete the program.
